About the Role

AquaPani is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing water resources management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development
    • Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions of water management systems and material requirements.
    • Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings for infrastructure projects.
  • Field Work
    • Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
    • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials.
  • Project Management
    • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for infrastructure projects.
    • Prepare engineering designs and drawings for water resources management systems.
    • Prepare project schedules and ensure timely completion of infrastructure projects.
  • Consultation and Collaboration
    • Provide consultation services to government and other organizations on water resources management.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of infrastructure projects.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in civil engineering or related field.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in CAE - computer-aided engineering, 3D graphic software, AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Autodesk REVIT.
    • Specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
  • Work Environment
    • Relocation costs covered by employer.
    • Willing to relocate.
