About the Opportunity:

WSP Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Resources Engineering Group in Canada. This team works on a variety of engineering and environmental projects across the country and globally.

The chosen candidate will lead water resources projects, including flood assessments, hydraulic designs, and environmental compliance. They will also manage projects involving hydraulic analyses, water management infrastructure, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead water resources projects from proposal to execution stages
  • Manage projects involving hydraulic analyses, water management infrastructure, and more
  • Oversee project deadlines, budgets, and scope changes
  • Prepare technical reports, lead project teams, and cultivate client relationships
  • Provide technical direction, mentorship, and promote health and safety

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering
  • Professional Engineer registration eligibility
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Water Resources Engineering
  • Experience in water management infrastructure and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling
  • Proven track record in client relationships and excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities
  • Commitment to technical excellence and high ethical standards
