Level Design Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level Design Director to join our team at 2K. As a key member of our game development team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and immersive game worlds that draw players in and keep them coming back for more.
Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing game levels that are both challenging and rewarding. You will work closely with our game designers, artists, and programmers to ensure that every aspect of the game is cohesive and engaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the game design team to define the game's vision and direction
- Design and implement game levels that are both challenging and rewarding
- Work with the art team to ensure that the game's visual style and aesthetic are consistent with the game's overall vision
- Collaborate with the programming team to ensure that the game's mechanics and systems are well-integrated and functional
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior level designers to help them grow and develop their skills
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on level design
- Proven track record of creating engaging and immersive game worlds
- Strong understanding of game design principles and mechanics
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
