Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Level Designer to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our Level Design team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and immersive game levels that showcase our company's commitment to innovation and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop 3D game levels that meet our high standards for gameplay, accessibility, and atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with our Level Design team and Level Artists to create top-quality levels that exceed player expectations.
  • Work closely with our Game Design team, Game Director, and Lead Level Designer to ensure that our levels align with our game's overall vision and goals.
  • Develop and maintain level design documents to ensure consistency and quality across our game.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in level design to continuously improve our game's quality.

Requirements:

  • University or college diploma in game design or equivalent training.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the video game industry as a Level Designer.
  • Strong knowledge of systemic design, game level architecture, and 3D environments.
  • Experience using industry-standard level editing tools, editors, and pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with level design layouts for complex combat encounters or third-person platforming/parkour traversals.
  • Leadership, proactivity, and commitment to working with different departments (design, animation, and programming).
