About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Level Designer to join our team at Turbulent Games. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating immersive and engaging game environments that bring our vision to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Associate Design Director, designers, and artists to build locations and sandbox experiences for Star Citizen.
  • Design and implement game mechanics, puzzles, and challenges that drive the gameplay intent of the sandbox experience.
  • Prototype level interactions, puzzles, challenges, events, and layouts of modular content.
  • Work closely with fellow level designers, helping and mentoring junior members, and participating in creating a collaborative atmosphere within the team.
  • Provide feedback and end-user experiences for location tools and procedural content.
Requirements
  • Functional English is essential for effective communication with team members.
  • Solid experience with video game engines and a strong understanding of level and environment design.
  • High degree of self-motivation and initiative, with a positive attitude towards challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working across disciplines.
  • Experience with working on open-world multiplayer games.
