Menzies Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ramp Training Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering and coordinating training programs to ensure our ground handling services meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement training programs for ramp and cargo operations staff
- Conduct initial and recurrent training sessions for ground handling personnel
- Coordinate with airlines and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor and report on training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of training programs
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ramp operations or a related field
- Valid Class 5 Driver's license and DA/AVOP and Transport Canada Security Clearance
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Bilingual (English and French) language skills
- Ability to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations
- Certified trainer for customer or ability to successfully complete and pass the training program
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word programs
- Thorough knowledge of ground handling operations, aviation security, safety practices, legislation, and customer supplier relationships
