Senior Manager, Aviation Security Policy and Programs

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Aviation Security Policy and Programs team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of air travel security.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective aviation security policies and programs to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with international regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including governments, airports, and airlines, to promote and advocate for air transport security regulations and standards.
- Provide expert guidance and support to industry stakeholders on security policy issues, including the development of policies, supporting regulations, and guidance materials.
- Manage and analyze data to inform policy decisions and ensure the effective implementation of security measures.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities, airports, and airlines, to enhance data-sharing and information-sharing efforts.
- Provide leadership and management of analysis (written and oral) to different audiences.
- Documented working/operational knowledge of civil aviation regulatory and operational frameworks, airline and/or airport security operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present publicly.
- Demonstrated skills to perform in a high-pressure, multicultural, and international environment.
- Successful completion of IATA or ICAO Aviation Security Courses, IATA SeMS Course, IATA or ICAO Security Audit, Inspection and/or Quality Control Courses.
- Excellent writing, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams skills.
