They are currently looking for an On-call Library Assistant to support circulation functions across various campus libraries.

POSITION SUMMARY: Library Assistant

The role involves delivering circulation services and front-line assistance while accommodating flexible work schedules. Candidates should possess a two-year Library Technician diploma or equivalent education and experience.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with an integrated library management system
  • Effective communication and collaborative skills
  • Strong proficiency in English communication
  • Competency in keyboarding and computer usage
  • Understanding of library classification frameworks
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage stress
  • Prior experience in public service roles
  • Physical ability to lift and transport materials using carts

COMPENSATION DETAILS

Salary adjustments are determined by hours worked and service milestones.

INTERNAL CANDIDATES
