Work Environment

This role is situated in an urban setting, specifically within a pharmacy or drugstore, where you will engage with customers and assist healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the accuracy of prescription information
  • Assist pharmacists in daily operations
  • Manage inventory of medications and pharmaceutical supplies
  • Maintain comprehensive prescription records
  • Prepare medications for clients
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of equipment
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products
  • Prepare and maintain necessary equipment and supplies
  • Process billing for third-party insurers
  • Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams
  • Handle claims related to health insurance or workers' compensation
  • Manage inventory and supplies efficiently
  • Perform general clerical tasks
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Operate cash register
  • Provide assistance to healthcare professionals
  • Offer advice regarding merchandise
  • Engage with customers to discuss their needs for products or services
  • Prepare merchandise for sale or lease
  • Assist in the display and arrangement of products
  • Facilitate pick-up and delivery services upon request
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Kroll Software
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite
Safety and Compliance
  • Must pass a criminal record check
  • Valid driver's license required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks
