Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant II to join our team at Lawtons. As a Pharmacy Assistant II, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our customers. This includes:
- Assisting pharmacists with prescription assembly and data entry
- Processing customer transactions and receiving and releasing prescriptions
- Receiving in-person and telephone refill requests and recording deliveries
- Promoting PROfile programs and compounding medications
- Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, and cleaning
- Creating and receiving drug orders and scheduling professional clinical services
- Managing BTC and administrative duties, including cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML's, and manual third parties
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Pharmacy Assistant diploma from a recognized Canadian College
- 1 year of experience as a pharmacy assistant
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Adherence to and implementation of all applicable company standards
