We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at TownSuite Municipal Software. This position will primarily involve providing assistance with our core Municipal ERP (mERP) software and its associated modules, which include desktop, web, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer-oriented approach, along with the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to initial inquiries via telephone or email, troubleshooting issues, and resolving cases promptly.
  • Documenting all case activities meticulously.
  • Identifying and escalating complex issues to Tier 2/3 support as necessary.
  • Monitoring and analyzing trends in reported issues to develop preventive measures.

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with areas such as Local Government Administration, Accounting, Asset Management, and Municipal Government Finance is advantageous.
  • A technical background, particularly in operating systems and software installation/updating, is beneficial.
  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset are essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are desirable.
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft SQL Server, Google Workspace, and TownSuite Municipal mERP Software is a plus.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
