Healthcare Administrative Coordinator

The Medical Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks that support both the clinical and operational aspects of the practice.
Key Responsibilities- Information Management: Facilitate the flow of information within the office.
- Patient Interaction: Conduct interviews with patients to gather essential case histories.
- Mail Handling: Manage incoming mail and electronic communications.
- Appointment Scheduling: Organize and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
- Staff Training: Educate team members on office procedures and software applications.
- Claims Processing: Complete insurance and other necessary claim forms.
- Filing System Maintenance: Keep an organized filing system for medical records.
- Inventory Management: Order office supplies and maintain stock levels.
- Travel Arrangements: Coordinate travel itineraries and make necessary reservations.
- Office Procedures: Establish and implement office routines.
- Data Entry: Input and format medical reports and correspondence electronically.
- Confidential Records: Initiate and maintain secure medical files.
- Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas and document meeting minutes.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients and clients.
- Billing Management: Calculate and process billing charges and payments.
- Clerical Support: Perform various clerical duties including filing and sorting mail.
