Catering Operations Supervisor is a pivotal leadership position that oversees the catering services at a significant account or manages multiple catering venues within a single account.

This role entails the meticulous planning and execution of catering orders and special events, ensuring that all operations align with client expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting consultations with clients to ascertain catering needs, including floor layouts, equipment rentals, and staffing requirements for events.
  • Managing customer bookings and drafting contracts.
  • Collaborating closely with the Executive Chef to curate menus tailored to client preferences.
  • Providing final approval for catering contracts prior to events.
  • Ensuring that all staff deliver exceptional, courteous service to every customer.
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
  • Participating in Operational Reviews for the Catering Department.
  • Overseeing the training and management of catering staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Policies as well as Aramark's Policies and Procedures.
  • Upholding Classic Fare Catering standards through ongoing training and engagement in program updates from the Head Office.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in catering.
  • At least 1-3 years in a management capacity.
  • Completion of a Hospitality or Food and Beverage program.
  • Proficient in relationship management and customer service.
  • Possession of Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.
  • A valid driver's license.
