Position Overview
The Catering Services Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the catering operations at a significant account or managing multiple catering venues within a single location. This position is tasked with orchestrating catering orders and special events while guiding the catering team to ensure all activities align with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct catering operations and special events for both internal and external clients/groups.
- Engage with clients to ascertain catering needs, layout designs, equipment rentals, and staffing requirements for events.
- Handle customer bookings and generate contracts.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to devise menus tailored to client preferences.
- Grant final approval for catering contracts prior to events.
- Ensure that job instructions are communicated clearly for effective task completion to meet client satisfaction.
- Guarantee that all staff deliver high-quality, courteous service to all patrons.
- Maintain food and service quality standards.
- Participate in Operational Reviews for the Catering Department.
- Conduct weekly team meetings.
- Address and resolve customer concerns.
- Manage staff scheduling.
- Oversee training and development of team members.
- Ensure proper management of Company Property.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Policies as well as Aramark Policies and Procedures.
- Uphold Classic Fare Catering standards through ongoing training and participation in program updates provided by Head Office.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years of experience in catering.
- Minimum of 1-3 years in a managerial position.
- Availability for event-based hours.
- Proven track record in driving business growth.
- Completion of a Hospitality or Food and Beverage program.
- Strong skills in relationship management and customer service.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Completion of Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Education
Trade School or Associate's degree preferred.
