Key Responsibilities- Event Execution: Oversee the setup, operation, cleanup, and labor cost management of catering events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and inspect all aspects of event execution, including setup, food service, clearing, and cleanup, to ensure compliance with inventory procedures and high-quality standards.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and lead hourly catering staff for game days and other events at Princess Auto Stadium, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Ensure assigned areas are fully stocked and ready for operation, adhering to inventory procedures and maintaining accurate records.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Manager of Events & Catering, including scheduling, ordering, inventory management, and other duties as assigned.
- Safety and Sanitation: Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in event/banquet catering, preferably with a management background.
- Customer Service: A fan-first attitude and a track record of excellent customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
- Certifications: Valid Smart Choices and Food Handler certificates.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Availability: Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, organized, strong leadership skills, and a self-starter mentality.
