About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at Victoria Inn (Winnipeg) Inc. as a key member of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Maintain High-Quality Food and Service Standards
    • Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of food and services.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and services to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and Manage Staff
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure efficient service.
    • Manage and train a team of 1 to 20 staff members, including food and beverage servers, to maintain high-quality service standards.
  • Maintain Records and Reports
    • Prepare and submit reports on stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, customer feedback, and business operations.
  • Ensure a Safe and Healthy Work Environment
    • Implement and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and protocols.
    • Ensure staff are trained in emergency procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Serving It Safe program certification.
