Regional Sales Director Role

The Regional Sales Director at Oliver & Bonacini is a dynamic leadership position that combines sales and people management expertise. As a key member of our department leadership team, you will play a vital role in establishing the direction of our business and driving initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support, coach, and lead a team of Event Specialists to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Execute an aggressive sales strategy for existing clients and annual sales goals through strategic planning.
  • Work directly with HR and other team members to support hiring and training for assigned business units.
  • Responsible for outbound sales within targeted markets for the portfolio, as assigned by the National Director.
  • Act as a liaison between event specialists and operating departments.
  • Monitor guest reactions and handle any guest complaints to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Seek new business opportunities for the unit & department, focusing on prospects & cold calling.
  • Effectively communicate the vision of the business unit to the team and rally efforts to achieve results.
  • Be fanatical about continuous improvement and be creative in overcoming challenges within units.
  • Run national team sales meetings in the absence of the director when required.
Requirements:
  • Three to five years of event sales experience with a proven ability to grow sales and lead a team.
  • Advanced written and spoken French.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team while continually exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to coach on selling to maximize revenue.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Exhibits sound financial acumen.
  • College or University graduate preferably in a hospitality-related program.
  • Knowledge of menu development and menu/event planning.
  • Able to effectively and efficiently meet deadlines.
  • Has a large client database and can utilize relationships to expand the O&B business.
  • Ability to think creatively & critically in making daily business decisions.
