Job Summary

Steel Hub Transport is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from our vehicles, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of our vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Route Planning: Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of goods, while also considering factors such as traffic, road conditions, and weather.
  • Cargo Management: Manage and track cargo, including documentation and record-keeping.
  • Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with our dispatch team, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver with Steel Hub Transport, you will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be required to work varying shifts, including overtime, and may be required to travel for extended periods.
