About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources professional to join our team as a Market People Leader. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our market leadership, contributing to the development and implementation of human resources strategies, and ensuring compliance with provincial compensation laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement human resources strategies to support business growth and evolution, while managing risk.
  • Provide HR support to market leadership, including talent management, workforce planning, and staffing.
  • Ensure compliance with human resource management and provincial compensation laws, standards, and rules.
  • Support restaurant profitability through audit, analysis, and coaching, working with General Managers and Operations Consultants to elevate priority restaurant performance.
  • Oversee and coordinate market-wide succession planning to ensure a healthy talent pipeline.
Requirements

We are looking for a driven HR professional with a post-secondary education in the Human Resources field and previous experience working in food service or retail in an HR context. You should have a keen sense of what success and celebration should look like for the team you are working with, and be able to adapt quickly to changing information, situations, and direction.
