About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at 2504983 Ontario Inc OA Subway Sandwich. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits, including cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
  • Revenue Monitoring: Monitor revenues to determine labor costs and make data-driven decisions to improve profitability.
  • Staff Performance: Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching and feedback to ensure high standards are met.
  • Daily Operations: Plan and organize daily operations, including determining the type of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including negotiating with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth.
Supervision and Work Environment
  • Supervision: Supervise 3-4 staff members.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail.
