Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Collision Repair Specialist to join our team at East End Auto Body Shop LTD. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the repair and restoration of vehicles following accidents.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship program is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in collision repair is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on professionalism.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Replace damaged components including front-end parts, body panels, doors, and underbody elements.
  • Prepare surfaces for repair by filing, grinding, and sanding.
  • Utilize tools to remove dents and imperfections, ensuring high-quality finishes.
  • Install replacement parts by bolting or welding as necessary.
  • Repair or replace interior components and glass elements such as windows and windshields.
  • Employ soldering equipment and plastic fillers to address holes and seams.
  • Straighten bent frames using specialized pulling and anchoring equipment.
Certifications

Applicants must possess an Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification.

Training Requirements
  • Completion of Level One and Level Two apprenticeship training is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Requires attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks such as bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
Tools and Equipment

Personal tools and steel-toed safety boots are necessary for this position.
