Collision Repair Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Collision Repair Technician to join our team at East End Auto Body Shop LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and refinishing vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  • Repair or replace interior components
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Requirements:
  • Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • Level one and two apprenticeship training
  • Experience in body components, doors and frame, frame straightening, front end components, interior components, metal cutting, underbody components, and welding
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and physically demanding conditions
  • Dependability, reliability, and team player skills
