Position Overview

As an Automotive Collision Repair Specialist at East End Auto Body Shop LTD, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This role requires a combination of technical skills and customer service excellence.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship program in auto body repair.
  • Experience: Previous experience in collision repair is an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Replace and repair front-end components, body panels, doors, and underbody parts.
  • Prepare surfaces for repair by filing, grinding, and sanding.
  • Utilize tools to remove dents and imperfections effectively.
  • Install replacement parts through bolting or welding techniques.
  • Repair or replace damaged interior components as needed.
  • Handle repairs for windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
  • Use soldering equipment and plastic fillers to address various repair needs.
  • Straighten bent frames using specialized pulling and anchoring equipment.
Certifications and Training
  • Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification is required.
  • Completion of Level One and Level Two apprenticeship training.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and physically demanding setting.
  • Requires attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks such as bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
Tools and Equipment
  • Must possess personal tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots.
