About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Collision Repair Technician to join our team at East End Auto Body Shop LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Replace Body Components
    • Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
    • File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
    • Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Operate Equipment and Tools
    • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
    • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
  • Inspect and Test Vehicles
    • Inspect vehicles to identify areas of damage and determine the necessary repairs
    • Test vehicles to ensure that repairs have been completed to a high standard
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment
    • Clean and maintain work space
    • Ensure that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored
Requirements
  • Education and Training
    • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Experience and Skills
    • Experience in collision repair and restoration
    • Strong knowledge of automotive body repair techniques and procedures
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification
