Automotive Refinishing Specialist

The Automotive Refinishing Specialist at East End Auto Body Shop LTD is responsible for executing high-quality paint and refinishing tasks on various vehicles. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship program is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years in automotive painting and refinishing.
- Maintain and clean the work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Replace and repair front-end components, body parts, doors, and underbody sections.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by masking and taping.
- Apply primers and topcoats to vehicle surfaces.
- Mix paints and match colors to achieve desired finishes.
Opportunities for further training include:
- Pre-apprenticeship training
- Level one, two, and three apprenticeship training
This position is physically demanding and requires:
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling
- A strong attention to detail
