About the Role

VHA Home HealthCare is a leading provider of home care services in Ontario, with a team of over 3,000 dedicated professionals. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, client-centered care to individuals in their homes, schools, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and implement occupational therapy interventions in accordance with professional practice guidelines and standards established by VHA and the relevant regulatory college.
  • Develop and implement client-centered care plans, incorporating evidence-based best practices and client input.
  • Ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with the client care team, including regular updates on plans and schedules for interventions.
  • Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries of interventions as required by the profession, referral source, and the organization.
  • Support safe client care through the development of knowledge and skills in accordance with our principles of continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school of Occupational Therapy.
  • Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Valid Driver's License with access to a vehicle.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Skilled in electronic documentation and able to provide virtual care.
  • Registered ADP authorizer (asset).
