We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Processor to join our team at The Cigna Group. As a Claims Processor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing of Non-Insured Health Benefit Dental Claims for indigenous people in Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Register, review, validate, and adjudicate claims on a daily basis to meet minimum accuracy Service Level Standards.
- Monitor and handle pended claims to ensure they are settled according to the Service Level Standards.
- Return claims that are missing mandatory client/benefit information, addressing envelopes and attaching provider return letters as needed.
- Process claim adjustments, scanning and reviewing claims to ensure errors have been made, and feeding back information to the call centre.
- Experience with data entry and excellent accuracy.
- Experience working in an operational setting is an asset.
- Experience in the group health insurance industry is an asset.
- Strong focus on customer service is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work or interpret data independently.
