Job Title: Delegated Authority Assistant - Data Processor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Delegated Authority Assistant - Data Processor to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing data processing, analysis, and administrative support for our delegated underwriting authority business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tracking, analyzing, and processing bordereau information received by TMCan, ensuring data is handled in a consistent, timely, and accurate manner.
  • Mapping bordereau reports (premium, payment, and claims) in binder management system.
  • Uploading bordereau reports to company systems, including binder management system and policy administration system.
  • Bordereaux quality control, recommending improvements/changes.
  • Assist with bordereau report validations and escalate errors to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be a key contact to resolve issues that prevent the processing of bordereaux within agreed timelines.
  • Resolve bordereau report inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with special projects as required, including creating/pulling MGA program reports.
  • Provide backup support to the Underwriting Assistants with data entry into the policy administration system as needed.
  • You will also be asked to assist with broader company tasks as needed.


Requirements:

  • The ideal combination of education and experience: a university degree or college diploma and previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience. Experience in property and casualty insurance and bordereau processing is preferred but not a must.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to collate and accurately summarize appropriate and timely data sets through Excel.
  • Keen interest in numbers and a numerical background preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS 360, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook) with a particular focus on Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI, and beginners' knowledge of SQL or Python an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills.
  • Takes initiative, is self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
  • A proven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines and driving for results.
  • Experience working closely with others and enjoy an atmosphere of cross-collaboration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a changing environment and be comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) are required; fluency in French is preferred, but not required.
