About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Account Manager - Performance Adhesives. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading chemical and ingredients distributor, promoting our portfolio of industrial adhesives, coatings, and sealants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote our industrial adhesive products to existing and new customers in the Quebec and Maritimes regions.
  • Maintain and grow a strong customer base, developing relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Qualify new business opportunities, establish relationships, and negotiate contracts.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to customers, including troubleshooting and optimization opportunities.
  • Manage sales performance, including forecasting, reporting, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Marketing, or a science field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer prospecting and business development, with a proven track record of sales growth and customer retention.
  • Experience in the industrial adhesives market, with knowledge of the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to learn and troubleshoot adhesive applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, including overnight travel.
