About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welding Machine Operator Assistant to join our team at JSW Welding Works Ltd. As a key member of our metal fabrication department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers in completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Sort and organize metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  • Clean machines and work areas regularly, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Read and interpret work orders accurately, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on time.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads, requiring physical stamina and endurance.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this role.
