About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder Assistant to join our team at SKYLINE WELDING & FABRICATION LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our experienced welders in the fabrication and welding process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Metal Cleaning Equipment: Assist in the operation of metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Cleaning Solutions: Help immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Material Sorting: Sort and organize metal sheets, parts, scrap metal, and other materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Hand Tool Operation: Assist in grinding or chipping excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including machines and immediate work areas.
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading vehicles with metal products.
  • Polishing: Help polish metal products to a mirror finish.
  • Work Orders: Assist in reading and interpreting work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with a focus on safety and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
