About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder Assistant to join our team at SKYLINE WELDING & FABRICATION LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Metal Cleaning Equipment: Safely operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Cleaning and Preparation: Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions, sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Grinding and Polishing: Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools and polish metal products to a mirror finish.
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping: Clean machines and immediate work areas, load and unload vehicles.
  • Work Order Management: Read and interpret work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • Training Provided: Willingness to learn and train on the job.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
