About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welding Machine Operator Assistant to join our team at JSW Welding Works Ltd. As a key member of our metal fabrication department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our welding machines and supporting our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers in their tasks.
  • Sort and organize metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools, ensuring high-quality finishes.
  • Clean machines and work areas to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Read and interpret work orders to understand production requirements and priorities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
  • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands and priorities.
  • Dependability and reliability to ensure consistent performance.
