Job Summary

The Associate Manager, Investor Services will be responsible for supervising a team of associates and providing support to the investment services team. This role will involve performing day-to-day supervision of associates, providing reports and feedback to management, and reviewing and understanding fund PPMs/OMs and trade documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of associates and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Provide periodic reports and feedback to management on investor relation topics, client issues, and department initiatives.
  • Review and understand fund PPMs/OMs and trade documents.
  • Act as a point of contact for priority fund investors and managers.
  • Handle and resolve escalated items.
  • Coordinate new client business meetings and communicate launch or conversion requirements.
  • Analyze, establish, and review new client launch and conversion fund data in database.
  • Work with external auditors and accounting to complete confirmation and due diligence requests.
  • Review and validate investor statements against accounting information and distribute investor statements.
  • Review and approve wires and maintain wire instructions.
  • Process investor transactions in accordance with the Fund's offering documents.
  • Distribute reports to accounting, fund managers, and investors.
  • Maintain database and dashboard to keep them accurate and current.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of financial services, mutual funds, hedge funds, and private equity funds preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and relationship building skills.
  • Proven training skills and adaptable to various software/database applications.
