Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for fund investors and managers through email and telephone communication.
- Manage investor subscription and redemption activities in compliance with the fund's offering documents and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
- Notify fund management of pending transactions as necessary.
- Prepare and verify investor statements in alignment with fund accounting data.
- Facilitate the distribution of investor statements, letters, and other documents per investor and fund management directives.
- Ensure that distribution information remains current and compliant with investor and fund management guidelines.
- Draft wire transfer instructions in accordance with investor and/or fund management directives via various online banking platforms.
- Confirm that expected cash activities have been processed by the bank and communicated to fund accounting and/or fund management.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures for the processing of the aforementioned activities.
- Engage in system and process improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by department management.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in Hedge/Private Equity Fund administration and/or Investor/Shareholder services.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in the financial services sector is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering and KYC procedures is a plus.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet client and departmental deadlines.
- Due to global client requirements, availability on Canadian holidays may be necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities and rapid changes.
