Crew Supervisor

As a Crew Leader at Railserve, Canada, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily activities and ensuring the success of your team. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Panel Technician and Rail Technical Advisor to delegate tasks and prioritize work flow.
- Ensure equipment and housekeeping checklists are completed properly and on time.
- Facilitate Turn Over meetings and emphasize safety over production.
- Audit and provide constructive feedback to crew members during quarterly reviews.
- Support all activities sponsored by Railserve and the Customer, including team building events.
- Be flexible with scheduling and participate in training for leadership and management principles.
- Collaborate with other department teams and subject matter experts to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
- Actively participate in the Site Logistics EH&S programs, including peer to peer auditing and Safe Work Permitting.
- High School diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
- 6+ months experience required.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
- Knowledge of customer and Railserve global tools, including GVP and My Learning.
This position requires regular work in an outdoor environment, with exposure to various weather conditions. The employee must be able to wear a respirator and/or other PPE that covers the face.
