Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at 2539769 Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are friendly, efficient, and effective.
  • Staff Management
    • Train and supervise staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Operations
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Establish and implement methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 staff members.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Stand for extended periods and walk frequently.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
Language

English or French.

Work Term

Permanent.Hours
