The Information Systems and Services department at Clearwater is seeking an IT Analyst for the Global Service Desk. This role is integral to the company's operations and is based at the Corporate Office in Bedford, Nova Scotia. The position is permanent and full-time, reporting directly to the Manager of the Global Service Desk.

Position Overview:

The IT Analyst for the Global Service Desk will play a crucial role in supporting Clearwater's global operations. This position involves collaborating with the Global Service Desk team to align with IT strategies and initiatives while ensuring effective service desk support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line IT assistance to various business units.
  • Contribute to the development of IT policies and procedures for problem identification, documentation, assignment, and resolution.
  • Evaluate Service Desk performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance service quality.
  • Oversee the management of incoming requests and incidents to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
  • Support mobile devices and printing solutions.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent support needs.
  • Assist with email filtering and antivirus management.
  • Manage the procurement process for IT equipment.
  • Facilitate software deployments and backup operations.
  • Provide support for global meetings using approved conferencing tools.
  • Manage user provisioning and administration within Active Directory and Exchange.

  • Extensive experience in hardware troubleshooting.
  • Competence with testing tools and methodologies.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and practices.

Work Environment:

  • Location: Bedford, Nova Scotia.
  • Occasional travel to facilities may be necessary.
