Industrial Mechanic Job Opportunity

Sofina Foods, a leading Canadian food company, is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at our Burlington location.

About the Role:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including conveyors, pumps, and packaging machinery.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, such as PMs and PDMs, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, adhering to safety protocols and GMP rules.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and improve productivity.

Requirements:

  • 433A or 426A Millwright License.
  • Minimum 18 years old and legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience as a Millwright or in a related field.
