Job Title: Industrial Mechanic Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic Millwright to join our team at Waterford Executive. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing our mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, including fans, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, and steam turbines.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns to restore equipment to operational capability.
  • Complete maintenance work orders, assignments, and schedules to ensure on-time performance.
  • Recommend the purchase of mechanical equipment and parts to support continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain mechanical reports and documentation.
  • Participate in mechanical-related programs, including ISO 9000 and World-Class maintenance.
  • Continuously improve productivity, skill, and commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Industrial Mechanic Millwright recognized by the Ontario College of Trades.
  • Industrial Maintenance Technician, G1 or G2 Certificate – Training provided.
  • Experience in continuous process, chemical, manufacturing plant is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work assignments and complete work safely.
Work Conditions:
  • Able to climb stairs and ladders, work at heights, and work in dusty environments.
  • Able to work outdoors and in all weather conditions.
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
