Job Title: Industrial Mechanic and Millwright

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team at First Hire inc. as a key member of our maintenance and repair team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical equipment assembly, installation, and maintenance, as well as experience with machinery setup and fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install industrial machinery and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Set up and fabricate parts required for machinery installation and maintenance
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Install and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Requirements:
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a noisy environment with machinery installation, maintenance, and repair. The candidate will be required to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding conditions, and stand for extended periods.
