Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Provide primary care and conduct thorough assessments to manage various health conditions. Oversee health and illness absence management, including adverse event management and disease surveillance. Administer immunizations and respond effectively to emergency situations. Engage in educational initiatives to promote health and wellness within the organization. Uphold health and safety policies to ensure a secure environment for staff, physicians, volunteers, and patients.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
A Diploma in Nursing and a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. A Diploma or certification in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (BCLS). A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Occupational Health within an acute healthcare setting. Knowledge of Occupational Health principles and relevant legislation. Familiarity with Communicable Disease Surveillance Protocols is preferred. Experience in health promotion and wellness programs is an asset.
Work Environment
This position offers a full-time schedule with 8-hour shifts, including day shifts, weekends, and on-call responsibilities within the Occupational Health Department. We provide a competitive compensation package that includes benefits, pension, and vacation.
Additional Information
As part of the employment process, candidates will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination to the Occupational Health and Safety department.
