Join Our Team as a School Health Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Health Nurse to join our team at SE Health. As a School Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and families in our community.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a school setting, providing care and support to children and families. As a School Health Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive client assessments and developing care plans that meet the unique needs of each child
  • Implementing and evaluating care based on best evidence and practices
  • Collaborating with other care team members and support functions to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Supporting clients through care transitions by connecting them with community support services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and vehicle (travel required)
  • Strong computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and Email
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable with excellent organizational skills
  • A demonstrated appreciation for Quality Improvement processes
