Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse

North York General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to join our team. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting workplace health, safety, and wellness for all employees at our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct health assessments and provide medical care to employees
  • Develop and implement health and safety programs to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses
  • Provide education and training to employees on health and safety topics
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Conduct investigations into workplace incidents and injuries
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Nursing and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational health nursing
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
