Lead Hardware Development Team at Lenovo

Lenovo, a global technology leader, is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the development of its hardware products. As a key member of our Hardware Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technical program managers to design, develop, and deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of engineers and TPMs to design and support Lenovo platforms throughout the product life cycle.
  • Oversee hardware product development through the entire life cycle, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Work closely with operations, manufacturing, testing, firmware, and common teams to drive decisions and ensure standardized product development processes are followed.
  • Develop team technical skills and identify mentorship opportunities to coordinate training and professional development.
  • Collaborate with senior management to negotiate options and communicate program plans, proposals, and results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience effectively communicating program plans, proposals, and results, as well as negotiating options at senior management levels.
  • Previous experience leading a team of engineers and acting as a technical contributor in design reviews and decisions.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent (desired).
