About the Role

This is a leadership position with responsibility to provide support and lead a team through server development execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of engineers and TPMs to design and support Lenovo platforms throughout the product life cycle.
  • Oversee hardware product development through the entire life cycle.
  • Work with the team on developing schedules, budgets, resource plans, critical deliverables, and other support requirements for assigned projects.
  • Drive decisions and ensure standardized product development processes are followed.
  • Work closely with operations, manufacturing, testing, FW, and common teams.
  • Develop team technical skills as part of continual growth.
  • Identify mentorship opportunities and coordinate training and professional development for your team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience effectively communicating program plans, proposals, and results, as well as negotiating options at senior management levels.
  • Previous experience leading a team of engineers and acting as a technical contributor in design reviews and decisions.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • ~2+ years of management experience.
  • ~Deep knowledge in one or more technical topics.
