This leadership role will provide support and lead a team through server development execution, managing and developing a team of engineers and TPMs. The successful candidate will empower the team to design and support Lenovo platforms throughout the product life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and develop a team of engineers and TPMs based in Morrisville
- Oversee hardware product development through the entire life cycle
- Work with team on developing schedules, budgets, resource plans, critical deliverables, and other support requirements for assigned projects
- Drive decisions and ensure standardized product development processes are followed
- Work closely with operations, manufacturing, testing, FW, and common teams
- Develop team technical skills as part of continual growth
- Identify mentorship opportunities and coordinate training and professional development for your team
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
- At least 2 years experience effectively communicating program plans, proposals, and results, as well as negotiating options at senior management levels
- Previous experience leading a team of engineers and acting as a technical contributor in design reviews and decisions
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
- ~2+ years of management experience
- ~ Deep knowledge in one or more technical topics
