Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Toppers Pizza. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are knowledgeable and compliant with company policies and procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that orders are accurate and complete.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
