Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Blends & Bites Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure that our team is well-equipped to meet the demands of our customers.
  • Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Positive attitude and a client-focused approach.
Work Environment:

Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment that requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

35 hours per week.
