Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Fat Bastard Burrito Co. as a key member of our operations team.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all food and beverage services are delivered to the highest standards. This includes supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules, ensuring that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, hot environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
